A fun quick stop with a long (one of the world's longest!) zip-lines, a nifty museum, and a short pleasant walk through the rainforest.

Juneau was a fun stop - we saw whales, our first glacier, and found a waterfall. Good food and a fun town to poke around in.

Ketchikan, AK
Ketchikan was a fun stop - Lisa and the kids did sea kayaking, which was a blast, and I bobbed around on a silly bus tour which was fun for the conversation, and did see a Bald Eagle. Completely missed the stream through town like a moron, but it's a fun stop that we'd not mind hitting again.

Seattle was our gateway to Alaska, but it's a destination on it's own. If you plan on visiting the 3 National Parks nearby, you'll want a car.
